Our Bridge the GAP College and Career Readiness Program for Teens is developed to assist learners to get College and Career Ready.
The National College and Career Readiness standard is what students must know and be able to do at each grade level to be college and career ready.
Our Program consist of four modules: Literacy, STEM, Finance and Budget, and Entrepreneurship and Career.

Teens will participate in our literacy program which encompasses: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and writing.
Teens will: be assigned a book to read; study a historical person or event; and provide a review from their reading and studied subject through powerpoint, essay, and/or blog to develop their research and writing skills.
The module encourages teens to engage in literature, connect to their history, and write their narrative.
Science: Teens will learn and review the six steps to the scientific method which are: purpose/question; research; hypothesis; experiment; data collection/analysis; and conclusion. The teen will learn health science of the cardiac and how to respond to a cardiac arrest.
Technology: Teens will learn and review how the invention and evolution of technology stimulates the economy. Teens will learn the steps towards filing a patent, which makes them the exclusive owner of their invention.
Engineering: Teens will learn and link to engineer roles in the career fields of audio/video, water purification, and space. Teens will research an engineer career and provide a review from their research through powerpoint, essay, and/or blog.
Math: Teens will learn how to solve mathematical problems with three different types of calculator. Teens will learn how to use the abacus, the basic calculator, and the scientific calculator.
The module encourages teens to be more interested in STEM careers.
Teens will learn how to money management, budget, invest, save, and give. Teens will create a budget on a spreadsheet, and establish a savings account.
The module encourages teens to develop disciplined money habits to reduce future mistakes that lead to future financial struggles.
Teens will learn how to develop a business proposal and plan to secure capital and run a business venture.
The module encourages teen innovation, ingenuity, and originality as an entrepreneur.
